We\u2019d go to lunch together and we\u2019d play cribbage at the lunch table.<br><sub>[Rosa, Morlands]<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ups and downs we had ups and downs. We had shortages and what have you: the stuff didn\u2019t come, the orders weren\u2019t there, all sorts of things happened. But in the main it was lovely work. There was a pecking order that we didn\u2019t know about. But we very quickly learnt &#8211; it\u2019s hard to imagine now. We sat back down at our benches and there was a definite atmosphere &#8211; we\u2019d crossed the line, that we didn\u2019t even know was there! And then certain people went up, people who had been there the longest or the oldest or something and then we had to take our place and come last the next day. We didn\u2019t, really have a clue but that\u2019s just the way it was.<br><sub>[Tim, Morlands]<\/sub><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The old sort of jobs &#8211; cutting hedges and things &#8211; were being mechanised. But it was a very nice small unit, they were all very friendly, it was just a lovely, lovely job.<br><sub>[Wendy M, Morlands]<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The whole thing was really, really buzzing.
