It is made possible by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. \nWe hope that anyone with a connection to\, memory of\, or interest in Morlands or Baily’s will come along to meet others\, share memories and enjoy tea\, coffee and cake. A serious psychedelic feast of beats and bleeps. \n  \nEat Static is an electronic music project formed in 1990 by Merv Pepler and Joie Hinton. Merv Pepler and Joie Hinton met as drummer and keyboard player (respectively) for the Ozric Tentacles\, a long-standing psychedelic “space-rock” band from Somerset. Although the Ozrics incorporated elements of electronic music\, Pepler and Hinton were drawn towards the rave-oriented dance music. Joie Hinton later left the group in February 2008 after 18 years to spend more time with his family.
