DESCRIPTION:Fight or Flight Creatives and GWS Radio present \nThe Lamplighter: Workshop Event\n  \nA first glimpse of The Lamplighter’s journey. A story of loss\, darkness\, light\, and hope. \n  \nBlending music\, narration and imagery\, this workshop shares the beginning of The Lamplighter’s story. \nOn World Mental Health Day\, it demonstrates how the arts can explore loss\, darkness\, light and hope\, and promote well-being. \n  \nWhat to expect: \n\nMusic & narration – weaving sound and story together\nVisual backdrops – imagery guiding the journey\nAudience Q&A – reflections on the story’s themes\nRefreshments at the bar\n\n  \nA Small Plates Menu will also be available from Red Brick Kitchen & Bar\, to enjoy before the show or during the interval. To book a reservation for food\, contact cafe@redbrickbuilding.co.uk \n  \nFriday 10th October \nDoors: 6.30pm\, with an opportunity to meet the team before the show. \nEvent starts at 7.30pm \n  \nFREE ENTRY \n  \n  \nAbout Fight or Flight Creatives: \n“Together we have teamed up to make one man’s vision come to life by using all of our talents\, skills\, hobbies and passions to create a beautiful Story called The Lamplighter. We aim to raise awareness of the world’s hurdles that society faces on a daily basis by using our skills as the perfect ammunition. \n“This project focuses on bringing light to topics of struggle that some people may think they have to go through alone. It’s a chance for us to speak out in a creative way and show people that they are are not alone in their path for fight or flight. “You’re not alone. We’ll stand and fight”. \n“By combining talents of script writing\, illustrations\, music production and composition\, acting\, singing\, research and story telling\,\nwe are all able to create a beautiful weapon to battle against fight or flight response and bring everyday people of all ages comfort and reassurance that their journey is one that we are all taking in life together and never alone. \n“Our project not only gives us a stage to showcase our passions and abilities through many talents in one magical story\, but also gives others a chance to have a voice and be a part of it too. It gives people the opportunity to open up about their own anxieties and demons and finally put them to bed in the most beautiful way of magical storytelling and audiobook format.” \n
