SUMMARY:Art and Mindfulness - FREE workshops
DESCRIPTION:Connecting with Ourselves and the Earth \nWelcoming beginners\, this course offers you a chance to relax\, unwind and develop your creativity\, in sessions which bring together the healing power of mindfulness and art. \nThis popular course provides an introduction to mindfulness and how it can be used as a wellbeing technique.  Each week\, the course will begin with exploring a different aspect of mindfulness.  There will also be the opportunity to explore your creativity with a range of different art materials in a supportive\, non-judgemental environment. The course is not about being ‘good’ at art\, but using art to support your wellbeing. \nCourse Tutor: Ceri Louise Morton Thomas is an Art Teacher and practicing Counsellor   For the last 15 years\, Ceri Louise has studied mindfulness with one of the world’s most outstanding teachers of mindfulness\, Zen monk and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Thich Nhat Hanh.  She has designed courses for lawyers\, teachers\, and nurses and has been teaching courses on Art and Mindfulness throughout Somerset for the last 5 years. \nPlaces are limited\, so please contact Ceri direct to book.
