Contemporary jazz at its finest\, Neil Burns is one of the finest guitarist to emerge in the West Country in recent years. Hailing from Glasgow\, Neil is now in great demand as an accompanist for many visiting musicians from the UK and the USA. \nFeaturing Neil Burns on guitar\, Martin Jenkins on organ and Coach York on drums\, this groove-heavy\, hard-swinging trio play a selection of Blue Note classics and originals\, with some great boogaloo & funk thrown in. \nTonight they team up with one of the trio’s good friends and regular guests Terry Quinney on tenor saxophone. Since arriving in the UK from Canada in 2009\, saxophonist and composer Terry Quinney has quickly established himself on the British jazz scene.
