DESCRIPTION:You’d have to be Mad! Is a day celebrating world mental health day\, presented by Seed of Hope and friends. \n The performance and exhibition space will be open during the day from 10 AM until 5 PM hosting a variety of free tasters and talks including yoga\, shiatsu\, Emotional freedom technique and more. Art will be on display by the art groups from Rusty Road 2 Recovery and others\, as well as poetry and writing. \n Rusty Road 2 Recovery will  be in the car park with a selection of classic vehicles demonstrating air brush painting and promoting their unique brand of Mental Health Recovery. \n The community garden will be open for people to try therapeutic gardening and learn more about the Seed of Hope\, the work of Bon Everson and Feed Avalon.  \nFood and refreshments will be available in the garden for a small donation. \n In the evening there will be several bands playing including Fallen. Alongside open mic slots\, comedy and poetry readings.  \nThere will be a pay what you feel charge for entry to help cover costs.  \nMerchandise from Seed of Hope will be available to purchase including native English Wildflower seeds- “Seeds of Hope”\, up-cycled T shirts\, plants and Beeswax candles. \n  \nFollow us in Facebook for regular updates- @YHTBM

DESCRIPTION:Art in the Garden\nDrop-in workshops\, arts and crafts in our Community Garden \n  \nWednesday 28th – Friday 30th August \n11am – 6pm daily \nWorkshops by donation \n  \nOur lovely Head Gardener\, Bon\, will be hosting a range of workshops for everyone in our beautiful community garden at the end of August. \n  \nTry your hand at mosaic making\, cob and bottle wall making\, crochet\, and using natural dyes. The local mobile library will also be about and available to use. \n  \nThe workshops are open to everyone\, including children\, with donations gratefully received. \n  \nDrinks will be available during the day\, but please bring a lunch with you. On the Friday night\, the garden’s cob oven will be fired up for cooking and eating some of the delicious produce grown in the garden.

DESCRIPTION:Red Brick Building Open Day\nPart of Beckery Village Open Day\n\n  \nMusic ~ Art ~ Workshops ~ Kids’ Activities ~ Flea Market ~ Food & Drink ~ Gardening ~ History \n  \nAn opportunity for you to come and be part of the Beckery Village and Red Brick Building communities. \n  \nSunday 7th April \n11.00am – 4.00pm \nFREE entry \n  \nAs part of the Beckery Village Open Day\, the Red Brick Building will be hosting a huge range of activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy- for free! \n  \nCome and join us for: \n\nThe British Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition\nMusic with Crystal Bowls\, DJ Jah Harmony\, Lazy Daze\, Stevie P and Neverglade\nFree taster sessions in Art\, Mindfulness\, Tai Chi\, Yoga\, Drumming\, History\, Salsa and Clog Dancing\nKids’ activities\, including stop motion animation with the Positive People\nOutdoor flea market\nGardening activities with Seed of Hope in our Community Garden\nA glimpse into Building C!\n\n  \nOur Beckery Village neighbours will also be opening their buildings for you to enjoy: \n\nZigzag Building will be hosting their space and showcasing historical film footage and photographs of the area. The car park will also be open for hurdle making and other mini workshops.\nBridies Yard will be selling delicious local produce and creating a community collage. DESCRIPTION:Seed of Hope\nGlastonbury Launch Event\n  \nGrowing Mental Health Recovery \n  \nJoin us to celebrate the start of the new Glastonbury Seed of Hope group. \nPlant a sunflower\, try yoga\, drink tea\, eat cake\, and find out about the benefits of gardening for mental health. \n  \nThursday 14th March \n4.00pm – 5.30pm \nIn the Community Garden \nFREE \n  \nSeed of Hope is a Community Interest Company providing recovery-based social and therapeutic gardening for people with mental health problems. \nThey work across Somerset in Cannington\, Watcher and Glastonbury. \nThey use the intrinsic elements of gardening (hope\, exercise\, being outdoors\, team work\, working with nature\, and seasonal produce) to support people in their  recovery journey.
