DESCRIPTION:The Red Hot Jazz Club presents\nThe Will Cartwright Funk Soul Collective\n  \nMixing original soul sounds with classic funk grooves from Stevie Wonder\, Bill Withers\, D’angelo\, and much\, much more… \nPlus a delicious dinner from The Old Tannery! \n  \nIf you love the soulful sounds of Stevie Wonder\, Bill Withers and Steely Dan mixed up with some original funk grooves and brilliant musicianship\, then you are in for a treat. \nThe Will Cartwright Funk Soul Collective is a modern take on the soulful sounds of 60’s and 70’s music\, with an emphasis on improvisation and sonic exploration. Will’s soulful vocal\, often compared to one of his mentors Stevie Wonder\, is skilfully integrated into this dynamic and exciting team of experienced and talented musicians. \nWill Cartwright has played with many bands internationally and has been featured on several UK EDM hits. DESCRIPTION:Gardening Workshop\nGrow Your Own Vegetable Patch\nHosted by Feed Avalon CIC \n  \nA hands on workshop where you will be provided with seeds\, soil and pots to start your very own vegetable patch. There will be a mix of leaves\, beans\, squashes\, roots\, herbs and flowers on offer. Successive sowing will be discussed\, as well as which plants are good to grow together. Advice and teaching will be on hand throughout the session. \nAt the end of the session\, you will take away the potential plants to nurture\, as well as a ‘What Next’ hand out with tips and recipes. \nThis workshop is free to attend\, thanks to the Smart Communities Food Resilience grant. \n  \nTuesday 10th May \n10am – 1pm \nIn the Red Brick Community Garden \n  \nFree to attand.
