SUMMARY:SOLD OUT: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner: Immersive Experience
DESCRIPTION:The Rime of the Ancient Mariner\nImmersive Experience\n  \n*SOLD OUT*\n  \nSamuel Taylor Coleridge’s epic poem in a spectacular 3-D Surround Sound production by Steve Marshall\, voiced by Shaun Prendergast \n  \nColeridge’s epic poem bursts into new life with a brand new surround sound production by Steve Marshall. This ultra-immersive experience places the listener onboard the Mariner’s creaking ship\, surrounded by the ocean and elements. From all around\, and above\, come the eery sounds of ghosts\, angels\, zombies\, St. Elmo’s Fire – and the doomed albatross. \nThe Ancient Mariner is voiced by well-known actor and writer Shaun Prendergast\, whose Geordie accent brings a gritty authenticity to this tragic tale. \nSteve Marshall was a film composer for many years\, working for a time in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. In 2018 he thrilled Red Brick audiences with his surround sound piece Bilocation – so popular it was presented twice. Steve is the author of several books\, including the acclaimed Exploring Avebury: The Essential Guide. \n  \nFriday 30th September \n7.30pm\, doors \n8pm start \n  \nTickets \n£5 advance (plus booking fee) \n£7 on the door \n  \nMore info: www.stevemars.org \n  \nPlease note\, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled
