SUMMARY:Ecstatic Dance Journey & Cacao: The Four Elements + Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Ecstatic Dance Journey & Cacao: The Four Elements + Live Music\nWith Just BE Sound & Movement Therapy  \n  \nAlison from Just BE Sound and Movement Therapy/Ecstatic Dance Berkshire and David\, Nomadic Therapist are back with another Ecstatic Dance Journey with Cacao & a Sound Bath – The Four Elements\, with live didgeridoo\, hand pan\, shruti and vocals! \n  \nEnter the space in sacred silence from 7.20pm and join us in meditation. \nAt 7.30pm\, sitting in circle\, you’ll be guided through a short centring practice\, with an invitation to scan the body\, emotions and mind. This practice is an opportunity to bring more presence to your experience and to connect more deeply with your self and your heart. \nAs we move into our cacao ceremony\, we pass our Guatemalan cacao around the circle with love\, before practicing gratitude and setting intentions together. \nWe’ll begin our movement journey together with a little guidance to warm up. The invitation is to disconnect the mind and connect with the body freely\, without self-judgement or fearing judgement from others. Movement is conscious\, intuitive and spontaneous as you allow the vibrations of the sound to resonate in whichever way feels right for you. Each dance journey is different\, with the music an eclectic mix of different genres. You’ll be invited to be curious with your exploration of your body and movements\, to bring moment by moment awareness to what’s moving through you. \nThe evening will close with a sound bath with didgeridoo\, handpan\, shruti and vocals\, a short closing circle with fruit\, and some optional time to socialise. \nThis is an over 16’s\, safe\, respectfully alcohol and drug free environment. We move/dance barefoot or with grip socks.  \n  \nSaturday 5th April \n7.30pm – 10pm \n  \nTickets \n£24 (plus booking fee) \nAdvance tickets and more info available here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/glastonbury-ecstatic-dance-journey-cacao-the-four-elements-live-music-tickets-1234848628489 \n

SUMMARY:Ecstatic Dance with Cacao: The Four Elements + Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Ecstatic Dance with Cacao: The Four Elements + Live Music\nWith Just BE Sound & Movement Therapy  \n  \nJoin Alison from Just BE Sound and Movement Therapy and David\, Nomadic Therapist for this Ecstatic Dance Journey with Cacao – The Four Elements\, with live didgeridoo\, hand pan\, shruti and vocals. \n  \nEnter the space in sacred silence from 7.20pm and join us in meditation. \nAt 7.30pm\, sitting in circle\, you’ll be guided through a short centring practice\, with an invitation to scan the body\, emotions and mind. This practice is an oppportunity to bring more presence to your experience and to connect more deeply with your self and your heart. \n  \nSaturday 18th January \n7.30pm – 10pm \n  \nTickets \n£22 (plus booking fee) \nAdvance tickets and more info available here: www.eventbrite.com/e/glastonbury-ecstatic-dance-journey-cacao-the-four-elements-live-music-tickets-1096425059869 \n

SUMMARY:"New Year\, New Me" Pagan & Spiritual Fair
DESCRIPTION:“New Year\, New Me” – Pagan & Spiritual Fair\nBy Wild Tribe Events \n  \nJanuary is well known to be the longest of all months\, lasting approximately 1091 days! The land is still dark\, the festivities are behind us and the thought of New Year resolutions are starting to circulate. \nWe want to do things differently. Yes\, a new year is upon us but we can still be gentle with ourselves as we ease in. \nSo\, this January join Wild Tribe Events as we take a gentle approach to the New Year with a ‘fill your cup’ day with like minded souls. Have a warming drink\, emerge in a sound bath\, spend that Christmas gift money on something for yourself\, have a reading to navigate your year ahead\, or leave 2024 behind with a resetting healing session. \nIf you’ve spent December shopping\, cooking\, baking\, entertaining\, juggling and indulging. This could be the gentle start to 2025 that you need. For a few hours\, it’s all about you \n  \nSaturday 18th January \n11am – 4pm \nFREE ENTRY \n  \nFor more information\, please contact wildtribeevents@gmail.com \n

SUMMARY:Heritage Connector Training
DESCRIPTION:Heritage Connector Training\n  \nHeritage is all around us and belongs to all of us\, wherever we live\, whatever we do and whoever we are. Heritage incorporates historic buildings\, archaeological sites\, culture and nature. It is woven from all our stories and memories\, and it is constantly changing and evolving. \nOur experience of heritage is closely connected with our sense of wellbeing. For example\, taking part in local heritage walks helps people to connect with others\, be active and feel inspired about the place they live in – as they stop to admire important buildings\, vibrant street art\, or trees that have held local significance over hundreds of years. \nIf you would like to explore the links between heritage and wellbeing\, why not train to become a ‘Heritage Connector’. The session will be jointly hosted by Health Connections West Mendip and the Bishop’s Palace & Gardens. \nHeritage Connectors can inspire people to engage more with local heritage and its wellbeing benefits\, through informal conversations and simple signposting. \nThose attending the training session will have the opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about our local heritage – which includes sites like Glastonbury Abbey\, the Tor\, the Bishop’s Palace\, Wells Cathedral\, Morlands’ and Clarks’ industrial history\, the Glastonbury Mural Trail\, the Avalon Marshes\, the Mendips AONB\, local natural springs – and much more. \nHeritage Connectors will also have the opportunity to take part in special events. This includes a private view at Wells Cathedral of the book A New Herball\, by William Turner\, a former Dean at the Cathedral\, published 1568. The book is not currently on public display. It is the earliest plant book written in English and is illustrated with woodcuts which help explain the appearance\, habitat and medicinal use of plants. \n  \nWednesday 20th November \n10am – 12pm \nFREE \n  \nFor more info and to book: \nBook your free place here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/heritage-connector-training-west-mendip-tickets-1075926548269 \nFor more details\, please contact Fen Bagias on 07538 546139 \n
