It is open to everyone and has been set up as part of our local heritage project ‘Morlands and Baily’s: Industry and Community in Glastonbury and Street‘. It is made possible by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. \nWe hope that anyone with a connection to\, memory of\, or interest in Morlands or Baily’s will come along to meet others\, share memories and enjoy tea\, coffee and cake. Each session we will have a different talking point\, and there will be photos\, magazines and artefacts to enjoy. \nThe Heritage Café is completely free and is held in the Event Space at the Red Brick Building on the last Friday morning of each month between 10am and 12.30pm. We aim to raise awareness of the world’s hurdles that society faces on a daily basis by using our skills as the perfect ammunition. \n“This project focuses on bringing light to topics of struggle that some people may think they have to go through alone. It’s a chance for us to speak out in a creative way and show people that they are are not alone in their path for fight or flight. “You’re not alone. We’ll stand and fight”. \n“By combining talents of script writing\, illustrations\, music production and composition\, acting\, singing\, research and story telling\,\nwe are all able to create a beautiful weapon to battle against fight or flight response and bring everyday people of all ages comfort and reassurance that their journey is one that we are all taking in life together and never alone. \n“Our project not only gives us a stage to showcase our passions and abilities through many talents in one magical story\, but also gives others a chance to have a voice and be a part of it too.
