DESCRIPTION:British Wildlife Photography 2018 Awards: Exhibition Preview\n  \nA Celebration of British Wildlife \n  \nJoin us for a special preview of the stunning collection of winning images from 2018’s British Wildlife Photography Awards \nThursday 4th April \n6.00pm – 8.00pm \n  \nWe are delighted to be hosting the British Wildlife Photography 2018 Awards exhibition. This is the third year we have hosted this wonderful exhibition which celebrates both the work of amateur and professional photographers and the beauty and diversity of British wildlife. Winning images are chosen from thousands of entries in fifteen separate categories including a category for film and two junior categories to encourage young people to connect with nature through photography. \n  \nNaturalist\, Author and Wildlife TV Producer Stephen Moss comments; \n“Once again\, this collection of images from the British Wildlife Photography Awards leaves us in awe of the skill\, patience and artistry of the photographers whose work is showcased here. The extraordinary range of subjects\, species and habitats\, and the imaginative way they are portrayed\, leaves us in no doubt that we in Britain are fortunate to be home to some of the most talented photographers.” \n  \nThe exhibition is open daily from Friday 5th April – Friday 31st May \n10.00am – 5.00pm \nSuggested donation of £3 to help cover running costs.

DESCRIPTION:Red Brick Building Open Day\nPart of Beckery Village Open Day\n\n  \nMusic ~ Art ~ Workshops ~ Kids’ Activities ~ Flea Market ~ Food & Drink ~ Gardening ~ History \n  \nAn opportunity for you to come and be part of the Beckery Village and Red Brick Building communities. \n  \nSunday 7th April \n11.00am – 4.00pm \nFREE entry \n  \nAs part of the Beckery Village Open Day\, the Red Brick Building will be hosting a huge range of activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy- for free! \n  \nCome and join us for: \n\nThe British Wildlife Photography Awards Exhibition\nMusic with Crystal Bowls\, DJ Jah Harmony\, Lazy Daze\, Stevie P and Neverglade\nFree taster sessions in Art\, Mindfulness\, Tai Chi\, Yoga\, Drumming\, History\, Salsa and Clog Dancing\nKids’ activities\, including stop motion animation with the Positive People\nOutdoor flea market\nGardening activities with Seed of Hope in our Community Garden\nA glimpse into Building C!\n\n  \nOur Beckery Village neighbours will also be opening their buildings for you to enjoy: \n\nZigzag Building will be hosting their space and showcasing historical film footage and photographs of the area. The car park will also be open for hurdle making and other mini workshops.\nBridies Yard will be selling delicious local produce and creating a community collage.
