DESCRIPTION:Gardening Workshop\nResilient Recipes\nHosted by Feed Avalon CIC \n  \nIn this workshop we will cook lunch together\, creating recipes from everyone’s culinary stories and ideas. Our ingredients will include foraged wild plants\, herbs from the garden and summer crops. You will learn about seasonal produce and how to make a delicious meal from it. We will then sit and share the meal together. \nThis workshop is free to attend\, thanks to the Smart Communities Food Resilience grant. \n  \nFriday 3rd June \n10am – 1pm \nIn the Red Brick Community Garden \n  \nFree to attand. DESCRIPTION:The Red Hot Jazz Club presents\nMilly Riquelme: Cuban Nights\nAnd La Cubana Band \n  \nLatin\, Bossa Nova\, and Authentic Cuban Grooves \n  \nThe Red Hot Jazz Club are delighted to welcome Milly Riquelme back to Glastonbury. \nHer previous two shows at the Red Brick Building were sold-out\, and we’re looking forward to another fabulous night of authentic Cuban melodies\, Bossa Nova and up-beat Latin grooves. \nMilly has been a musical director and pianist with Cuban Salsa and Latin bands in Havana since 2006. She has collaborated with other well-known Cuban Musicians\, such as Nicolas Sirgado and Mayito Ribera; pillars of the popular Cuban and Latin jazz in Cuba. \nShe is a passionate musician and has performed extensively as a solo pianist/singer\, and with her Latin band La Cubana in London and internationally. \nLa Cubana Band will be joing Milly for her performance during the show.
