DESCRIPTION:Somerset Multicultural Association present \nFree Family Fun Day\nPart of Black History Month 2021\n  \n*CANCELLED*\nWe are very sorry to confirm that the event organisers for this free family fun day have made the difficult decision to cancel this event\, due to Covid-19. Our apologies for any disappointment this causes.  \nWe hope to reschedule this event to next year when circumstances allow. Thank you for your understanding. \n  \n— \n  \nNow in its 3rd year\, the Somerset Multicultural Association returns to the Red Brick Building to celebrate Black History Month with a free family fun day. \nCome along for a fun-filled day with performances from the likes of David 9 Lunas. Also on offer will be educational talks\, kids’ craft sessions\, and African dance and Steel Pan workshops. \nPlus\, Street-based Mahalia’s Kitchen will be running a food stall for the day providing some sumptuous Caribbean cuisine! \n  \nSomerset Multicultural Association works to bring together BAME people living in rural Somerset\, as well as inviting the community as a whole to learn about and celebrate Black history and culture. \n  \nThis event is free and everyone is welcome. \n  \nSaturday 23rd October  \n12pm – 5pm \nFree entry \n
