DESCRIPTION:Salsa Classes for Beginners and Intermediates\nWith Alister and Laura \n  \nFun\, friendly and easy Latin dance classes\, suitable for all skill levels. \nLaura and Alister have been dancing for over a decade and teaching since 2009. They have trained with some of the UK’s top teachers and specialists from New York and Latin America. They take a relaxed approach to their classes; dancing is firstly about enjoying yourself\, and that’s the best way to learn! \nCome alone or bring a partner. All welcome\, no need to book. \n  \nClasses \nTuesdays: \n7.30pm\, Beginners and Improvers (absolute beginners welcome!) – Simple but classy steps and turns. Both Cuban and cross-body style salsa\, plus occasionally Bachata or Merengue. \n8.30pm\, one of the following: \n\nImprovers or Intermediate Salsa\nBachata – from the Dominican Republic\, a slower dance with similar timing to salsa.\nMerengue – another Dominican dance\, with a simple one-two rhythm. Very popular in the Latin world.\nLa Rueda\, the Cuban Wheel – Salsa in a circle\, changing partners\, with fun (and sometimes funny) moves\, all done at the same time.
