SUMMARY:Friday Night Jazz: Return of the Native
DESCRIPTION:The Red Hot Jazz Club presents\nReturn of the Native\n  \nAn exciting evening of brand new original jazz that blends beautiful melodies\, lush chords and crazy rhythms. \nPlus a delicious dinner from The Old Tannery! \n  \nSomerset group\, Return of the Native\, is a creative collaboration between musicians Hywel Davies (piano)\, Will Rees-Jones (sax)\, Luke Belcher (bass)\, and Luke McCarthy (drums). \nThey originally formed just before the pandemic to celebrate the homecoming of Will\, their saxophone player\, after his first term studying at Guildhall School of Music. The group has since evolved into a celebration of the band members’ own original music. \nBetween them\, they have created some wonderful and exciting music\, blending beautiful harmonies\, unusual timings and lush melodies together to make their own form of modern jazz. \nHywel Davies and Luke Belcher are regular players on the South West jazz scene and beyond. Will Rees-Jones and Luke McCarthy are both young\, gifted players from Wells and Shepton\, and clearly destined for great things in the wider jazz world. \n  \nThis is going to be something a little bit different to our previous shows and we think you’re going to love it. So join us for some truly great playing and beautiful music. \n  \nFriday 8th October \nDoors: 7.30pm \nStart: 8pm \n  \nTickets \nEntry: £8 advance (£10 on the door) \nVegan Mezze*: £8.50 (advance booking only) \nCheese & Charcuterie Platter*: £8.50 (advance booking only) \n*For special dietary requirements\, please contact The Old Tannery restaurant on theoldtanneryglastonbury@outlook.com or 01458 440558. \nPlease note food options are subject to change. \n  \nFor more information about this event\, please contact theredhotjazzclub@gmail.com \n  \n18’s and over only \nPlease note\, tickets are non-refundable (unless the event is cancelled)
