DESCRIPTION:Heritage Café\n  \nCome join us for tea\, conversation and a smile! \nThe ‘Heritage Café’ is a place for friendship\, conversation and reminiscence. It is open to everyone and has been set up as part of our local heritage project ‘Morlands and Baily’s: Industry and Community in Glastonbury and Street‘. It is made possible by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. \nWe hope that anyone with a connection to\, memory of\, or interest in Morlands or Baily’s will come along to meet others\, share memories and enjoy tea\, coffee and cake. Each session we will have a different talking point\, and there will be photos\, magazines and artefacts to enjoy. \nThe Heritage Café is completely free and is held in the Event Space at the Red Brick Building on the last Friday morning of each month between 10am and 12.30pm. If you would like more information\, please email heritage@redbrickbuilding.co.uk \nAll are welcome. In partnership with Fred Giles and Bill Urwin of ROAM (Recorders of the Avalon Marshes). \nMoth traps will be set up in the evening of Friday 27th September. On the Saturday morning\, we’ll meet and see what has been found and record the catch. Results will be recorded and the moths will be released. \nNo need to book. His bass-baritone voice has often been referred to as rich\, deep and smooth. Bringing the songs and sounds of mid-20th century jazz to modern listeners of all ages\, Marvin possesses a rare and beautiful presence that can light up any audience of any venue within seconds. \nMarvin’s charismatic style and wonderful vocals won us over completely the last time he was here\, and his ability to bounce seamlessly from song to song\, from funk to soul and ballad to swing is something to behold.
